History
The Waverly Exchange Club was chartered in 1984 and currently has 42 active members. Throughout its history, the club has focused on raising funds and volunteering time to support families, victims of child abuse, and improve the lives of those living within our communities. The Waverly Exchange Club has also been active at the district level and at the national level of Exchange.
Background
The club meets each Thursday at 7:00 a.m. for breakfast in the Saemann Student Center on the Wartburg College campus. Each meeting starts with a prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance. One Thursday per month is used for business; the others are highlighted by a speaker from the community/area to keep the Club informed on a topic of importance or interest. Additionally, several social outings are planned for members and families throughout the year.
