2014 EMT of the Year

The Waverly exchange Club recognized Randy Pfile of the Tripoli Ambulance Service as the 2014 EMT of the Year. Pfile was nominated and selected by members of the Bremer County EMS Association. Randy started with the volunteer service in 1983 and has been serving continuously. In addition to serving on the ambulance service, Randy also teaches basic life support, EMS courses, and courses at Hawkeye Community College. He and his wife Nancy owned Pfile Insurance Agency in Tripoli for the past 24 years. 2014 is the first year the Waverly Exchange Club honored a local emergency responder who was nominated by his or her peers to highlight the service and dedication of those serving our community.
